How Byte Geniushub collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us or work with us.
This Privacy Policy is issued by Byte Geniushub (“we”, “us”, “our”), a digital agency providing web development, mobile apps, design, digital marketing, video and artificial-intelligence services from Road 3, House 62 (Level 4), Niketon, Gulshan 1, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh. It applies to https://bytegeniushub.com/, our social media pages, email and WhatsApp communication, and the services we deliver to clients. It is effective from 1 August 2026.
We collect only what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:
We process personal information on the basis of your consent, the need to perform a contract with you or take steps before entering into one, our legitimate business interests (such as improving services and preventing fraud), and compliance with applicable laws of Bangladesh, including the Digital Security and information-technology regulations in force from time to time. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
When we build or operate systems for clients — websites, CRMs, chatbots or automations — we may process the personal data of our clients’ customers. In those cases the client remains responsible for that data and we act on their documented instructions. We use it only to provide the contracted service, keep it confidential, and return or delete it at the end of the engagement. We never use client data to train public AI models.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate — such as hosting and cloud providers, email and productivity tools, analytics platforms, payment processors (including bKash, Nagad and SSLCommerz), and professional advisers — under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order or a competent authority in Bangladesh.
Some of our tools and cloud providers store data on servers outside Bangladesh. Where this happens we choose reputable providers with recognised security standards and contractual safeguards, and we minimise the data transferred.
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months. Project files and communications are kept for the life of the engagement and up to five years afterwards for warranty, dispute and accounting purposes. Financial records are retained for the period required by tax law. Data is then deleted or anonymised.
We use role-based access, two-factor authentication, encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), password managers, regular backups and staff confidentiality agreements. No online system is perfectly secure, so we also maintain an incident response process and will notify affected clients promptly if a breach affects their data.
You may ask to access, correct, update or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent for marketing. We will respond within 30 days. Some information may need to be kept to meet legal or contractual obligations.
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us so we can delete it.
